luckily, our lovely friend, charlotte, managed to get a space in front of our store for the 3 day art walk. she sat out in the sun (and rain) with her beautiful canvases, while painting a few others to pass the time.

on sunday, two blocks of the ave were closed down for shops to set up booths on the road. along with a mini-doughnut stand and a reptile petting zoo there were bands playing, dance performances and a fashion show. it was almost like a mini carnival!
too bad we forgot to take more pictures...just this one of lovely tressa (who also had a booth set up for her clothing line, sessa). next year i'll make sure to take a photo of the lady pushing the baby stroller with the two pomeranians in it!
